Job summary

Pembroke Hospital in Pembroke, MA, is seeking a Full Time Cook to join our team. This 40-hour per week role focuses on preparing quality meals for hospital patients and staff while upholding safety and sanitation standards.

The position may require covering Dietary Aide duties, including serving patients, and supports a compassionate, patient-centered environment. A high school diploma is required; two years of related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Formal training in culinary or institutional food preparation desirable.
• Experience: Two (2) years of experience in a similar position preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Cook prepares quality meals in a timely and efficient manner for hospital patients and staff while following safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• The Cook will also cover for the Dietary Aide responsibilities, which primarily include serving the patients.
