Job summary

Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital is seeking friendly, compassionate team players to join its culinary team. Under the guidance of the chef/production manager, cook meals and provide food service for patients, the retail cafe, and catering events at the hospital.

We offer full-time positions with day, evening, and night shifts. Responsibilities include preparing meals, following recipes, maintaining cleanliness, and following health and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in a commercial kitchen (healthcare preferred).
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team.
• Maintain good personal hygiene and uniform.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality meals for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Follow recipes and guidelines to prepare all food items.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow sanitation procedures.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist team members and management to operate the department efficiently.
