You will support on-site operations and coordinate with hospital departments to ensure timely communication and prompt issue resolution. Strong professionalism under stress and the ability to multitask are essential.

Qualifications

• Required Certifications/Licensure: None.
• Required Training: Ability to maintain professionalism while working under stress during extremely busy times.

Responsibilities

• Operates voice over internet protocol (VoIP) phones and hospital paging systems.
• Properly handles all incoming calls for the hospital’s main line.
• Provides information to callers while maintaining compliance with HIPAA and hospital policy.
• Acts as an in-house directory.
• Has a complete knowledge of the switchboard, including equipment usage and adherence to hospital policies.
• Properly notifies on call personnel for different hospital departments.
