Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Professionally answer all incoming calls and route to the correct department.
• Provide hospital information (visiting hours, location, services) to callers.
• Record and relay messages accurately to staff in a timely manner.
• Respond to emergencies and code calls, coordinating with concerned personnel.
• Keep logs of calls and messages for accountability and follow-up.
• Assist distressed callers with empathy and maintain confidentiality per HIPAA.
