Responsibilities

• Operate Amcom PC operator workstation to receive, direct, and place internal and external calls.
• Initiate page calls on computer systems, radio long range, and aural page systems.
• Provide quality telephone operator coverage for hospital operations.
• Page System Support.
• Respond to emergency calls in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Receive information from Doctors Answering Service and relay as needed.
• Prepare toll and message tickets for calls placed for department individuals.
