Job summary

Grady Health System in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Coder II to code and abstract CPT and ICD-10 for physician services across ER, inpatient, outpatient and other settings. You will review documentation for completeness, assign accurate codes, and support billing with timely releases and denial resolution.

Qualifications include 2+ years acute care coding experience, proficiency with Epic and 3M CAC/HDM, and CPC/CCS certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years relevant coding and abstracting experience in an acute care hospital.
• Experience with Epic, 3M CAC and HDM systems.
• Certification: CPC or CCS-P, CCS-H, RHIA, RHIT, or equivalent coding certification
• Education: Highschool Diploma Or GED
