Job summary

Grady Health System in Atlanta is seeking a Coding Supervisor to lead outpatient coding staff and oversee daily operations for ICD-10-CM and CPT-4/HCPCS coding. You will ensure accurate codes, timely billing, and compliant processes using EPIC, 3M CAC, and ARMS.

This leadership role involves performance reviews, staff training, and developing coding policies in collaboration with the Corporate Coding Manager to drive productivity and financial results for Grady.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of ICD-10-CM/CPT-4/HCPCS coding principles and systems.
• Proven ability to supervise outpatient coding staff and manage workflows.

Responsibilities

• Oversee outpatient coding staff and workflow priorities.
• Review records in EPIC and 3M CAC for accuracy and timely billing.
• Assist with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
• Support productivity/quality reviews and staff education.
• Maintain productivity/quality records for coding staff.
• Develop coding policies and procedures with leadership.
