Job summary

Advocate Health Care is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will assist with daily activities, document vital signs in EMR, and help with admissions, transfers and discharges under RN supervision.

Responsibilities include promoting patient safety, managing supplies, and aiding with feeding, hygiene, and mobility while adhering to infection prevention and department policies. Requires teamwork and reliable scheduling availability.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, feeding, and mobility.
• Document vital signs, intake/output, and fluids in EMR as directed.
• Support admission, transfer and discharge activities under RN supervision.
• Maintain patient safety by answering call lights promptly and managing supplies.
• Perform bed/chair transfers with proper technique and assistive devices.
• Assist with nutrition, skin care, and positioning; collect specimens as needed.
