Mercy Hospital Southeast in Dexter, MO is seeking a part-time Clinical Pharmacist to collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure safe and effective drug therapy. You will serve as a drug information resource for teams and patients, supporting education and clinical initiatives in a patient-centered care environment.

The role emphasizes clinical/pharmacy services, medication therapy management, and adherence to Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications

• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited school.
• Current pharmacist license in the applicable state.
• Two or more years of clinical pharmacy experience (preferred).
• Completion of a PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Review patient records to ensure appropriate medication therapy.
• Assess patient conditions to ensure treatment plans address clinical needs.
• Develop medication plans to minimize risk and optimize outcomes.
• Consult with prescribers, nurses, and patients regarding medications and therapy.
• Provide guidance on drug administration and monitor outcomes.
• Serve as a clinical resource for care teams and subspecialties.
