Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for a part-time role at Mercy Pharmacy – Dierbergs Deer Creek Crossing. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other professionals to ensure safe medication therapy and act as a drug information resource.

You will review orders, participate in education efforts, and support department initiatives while maintaining Mercy Signature Service standards and a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree required or PharmD degree.
• Current pharmacist license in the applicable state.
• Two+ years of clinical pharmacy experience preferred.
• PGY-1 residency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review patient records to ensure appropriate medication therapy.
• Collaborate with prescribers, nurses, and patients regarding medications.
• Provide guidance on drug administration and monitor outcomes.
• Precept and mentor pharmacy students and residents as needed.
• Participate in Medication Therapy Services and quality initiatives.
• Utilize Epic and Micromedex for order verification and drug information.

Education

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BS)

Current pharmacist license in applicable state
