Job summary

Cooley Dickinson Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to perform a broad range of clinical laboratory procedures across microbiology, serology, urinalysis, blood bank, hematology and chemistry.

The role requires an Associate’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology and ASCP-BOC MLT certification, with 0–1 year of MLT experience preferred and possible Blood Bank exposure depending on assignment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology is required.
• ASCP-BOC MLT certification required.
• 6–12 months of MLT experience preferred; blood bank experience if assigned.

Responsibilities

• Interact professionally with adult and geriatric patients.
• Maintain and operate laboratory instrumentation per CAP/Regulatory standards.
• Perform and document quality control and corrective actions.
• Prepare specimens, report results, and ensure proper inventory.
