Job summary

BayCare in St. Petersburg, FL is seeking a Hospital Clinic Representative to support the clinic team with outstanding customer service and administrative tasks.

This onsite, full-time role offers weekday days from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with a strong focus on patient experience and accurate documentation. You will greet patients, collect information, schedule visits, coordinate procedures, and assist with billing inquiries while maintaining smooth clinic operations.

Qualifications

• Six months of healthcare or customer service experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and signing in patients upon arrival.
• Scheduling appointments and assisting with patient inquiries.
• Coordinating procedures, laboratory services, and referrals with consulting physicians.
• Collecting and posting patient payments.
• Assisting patients with billing questions.
• Reviewing encounter forms for completeness prior to patient checkout.
• Managing clerical duties, including sorting mail and copying medical records.
• Maintaining accurate patient information and documentation.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Role Overview

Qualifications

Education

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

Experience

• Six (6) months of Healthcare experience OR
• Six (6) months of Customer Service experience
