Job summary

Memorial Blood Centers in Minnesota is seeking a detail‑oriented Hospital Services Support Associate to assure adequate inventory, comply with regulations, and provide excellent service to hospital customers. Approximately 75% of the time is spent in hospital services and 25% on driving and delivering orders.

You will handle hospital orders, shipments, packing, and reconciliations, while maintaining equipment and vehicle readiness and adhering to federal standards for blood components.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• 2 years of driving and/or customer service experience.
• Good driving record.
• Good communication skills; both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee daily Hospital Service tasks and hospital orders.
• Manage consigning, shipping, packing, and reconciliation of components.
• Handle irradiation/modification and timely driving functions.
• Deliver hospital transfusion service blood component orders.
• Pickup whole blood from collections sites and reference labs.
• Provide daily customer service to hospital transfusion services and maintain equipment.
• Maintain department vehicles, supplies, forms and reports, and stay compliant with regulations.
