Responsibilities

• Performing and overseeing daily Hospital Service tasks
• Hospital Orders and consigning
• Shipping, packing and reconciliation
• Irradiation/modification and timely driving functions
• Delivering hospital transfusion service blood component orders
• Picking up whole blood from collections vans/mobile sites
• Sampling pickups for reference lab, donor testing, and nat lab
• Daily communication with hospital transfusion services to ensure correct orders and shipments
• Maintain hospital service vehicles and department supplies
• Maintain equipment knowledge and trouble-shoot problems with maintenance teams
