Responsibilities

• Verify insurance benefits and eligibility for admissions.
• Read and understand EOBs and third‑party payer rules.
• Prepare admission folders and collect co-pays/deductibles from patients.
• Assist with payment plans and financial arrangements with collection personnel.
• Collaborate with utilization review and discharge planning to mitigate non‑payment risk.
• Provide patient benefit information and assist with discharge procedures.
• Navigate managed care contracts and government intermediaries for prompt reimbursement.
• Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Office and related systems.
