The ideal candidate will have proven collections experience, Excel proficiency, and knowledge of insurance and accounts receivable processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1-3 related work experience required.
• Demonstated experience in proactive and effective unfront Collections.
• Experience in Excel.
• Experience in Medical Billing.
• Hospital Experience.
• Experience in Explantation of Benefits.

Responsibilities

• Verifies hospital insurance information.
• Compiles hospital bills and submits claims to insurance.
• Contacts patients/insurance companies to collect unpaid claims.
• Verifies insurance/demographic information in system.
• Keeps upfront log up to date with daily activity/discharges.
• Assists in performance improvement and CQI activities.
