Qualifications

• Requires Associate's Degree in Nursing (required).

• Current KY RN licensure or compact license required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts systematic, continuous assessments of patient health status from admission to discharge.
• Administers medications per licensure authority and documents administration.
• Plans care with patient and family using current knowledge and safety goals.
• Identifies and prioritizes patient problems with the care team and family.
• Implements nursing interventions to meet patient and family needs with safety and efficiency.
• Evaluates patient education and revises the care plan with the team.
• Advocates for patient and family and coordinates discharge planning.
