UofL Health in Louisville, KY is seeking a Registered Nurse (Hospital-Based) to provide comprehensive nursing care across age groups, guided by safety and quality standards. Under supervision of a clinical nurse manager, you will assess, plan, and coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team.

Qualified candidates hold an Associate Degree in Nursing with a KY license; BSN within three years is required/strongly preferred. BLS is mandatory; PALS/ACLS may be required for specific units.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
• All new-hire RNs must start an approved BSN within one year and complete within three years (required).
• Two years hospital patient care experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assess patient health status from admission to discharge.
• Administer medications per licensure and document administration.
• Develop age-specific care plans with the care team and family involvement.
• Collaborate with unlicensed staff to deliver safe patient care.
• Ensure patient safety and advocate for patients and families.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and unit policies.
