AtlantiCare seeks a Hospital Based Certified Doula to join the team as a full-time, non-clinical member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team. You will provide emotional, physical, educational, and advocacy support to pregnant, laboring, and postpartum patients and families throughout the perinatal experience.

You will collaborate with nurses, physicians, midwives, social workers, lactation consultants and other professionals to improve outcomes and patient satisfaction, while promoting

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in public health, social work, maternal-child health, or related field preferred.
• Completion of NJ Family Care approved doula training program required upon hire.
• American Heart Association BLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Provide emotional, physical, educational and advocacy support to pregnant, laboring and postpartum patients and families.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, midwives, social workers and other healthcare professionals to improve maternal and infant outcomes.
• Bridge between hospital and community, promoting trust, communication and continuity of care.
• Promote culturally responsive, trauma-informed, patient-centered care throughout hospitalization.
