Job summary

The Armstrong-Indiana-Clarion Drug and Alcohol Commission is seeking a full-time Case Management Specialist to work primarily in a hospital setting. The role involves engaging individuals with substance use disorders, evaluating needs, and coordinating with hospital staff and community partners to address treatment-related needs throughout the course of care.

Required are a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and at least one year of counseling or case management experience in AOD treatment;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required in Chemical Dependency, Sociology, Social Welfare, Psychology, Nursing, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of counseling or case management experience in alcohol or other drug treatment setting.
• Candidate must have or be able to obtain Act 33, 34 and fingerprint clearances.

Responsibilities

• Engage clients with substance use disorders.
• Evaluate needs and establish linkages to services.
• Arrange access to services and ensure enrollment in healthcare coverage.
• Advocate for the client and monitor progress.
• Coordinate with hospital staff and community partners throughout treatment.
