Job summary

Central Missouri Hospice is seeking a Volunteer Manager to lead and coordinate hospice volunteers, aligning with regulatory guidelines and company pillars. You will recruit, train, educate, and assign volunteers to care activities, working directly with patients and families in a compassionate healthcare setting.

The role requires a valid driver's license, access to a vehicle or reliable transport, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; CPR certification is preferred, and healthcare experience

Qualifications

• Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance and access to a dependable vehicle or public transport.
• Experience with Microsoft Suite and ability to learn multiple applications.
• CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment, training, ongoing education, and assignments for Hospice Volunteers.
• Ensure program standards meet regulatory and certification bodies and company pillars.
• Meet with patients, families, and hospice team to coordinate volunteer care.
• Assign volunteers to activities and monitor reports for timely action.
• Maintain accurate patient and volunteer activity documentation per regulations.
