Job summary

AccentCare Inc. is seeking a Team Assistant in Houston to provide comprehensive administrative support within the hospice care team. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, with hours 8am–5pm and an hourly salary of $19.00–$20.00, based on experience.

The Team Assistant will manage EMR data, assist with inventory, coordinate with medical staff, and help prepare team meetings, contributing to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or related, required.
• 1+ years’ clerical experience, preferably in a medical setting, or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of products and EMR systems

Responsibilities

• Update the ADT missing elements in EMR daily via exception report.
• Record census updates in EMR for admissions, discharges, transfers and changes in level of care.
• Assist the Team Director by ordering and maintaining inventory of medical supplies for field staff.
• Process DME orders in the EMR system and related systems.
• Prepare IPOC/485 documents with support from the Team Director as needed.
• Coordinate with the Medical Director and physicians to finalize IPOC/485 before meetings.
