Job summary

SolutionHealth is seeking a Spiritual Bereavement Coordinator to lead spiritual and bereavement care for patients, families, staff, and volunteers. You will assess needs, plan care, and document appropriately, working within a collaborative hospice team.

The role requires a graduate degree in a related field, at least two years of spiritual counseling experience, and two CPE units. It offers opportunities to engage with clergy and hospital pastoral care staff and contribute to community

Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in a related field (Thanatology, Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, Theology, Divinity, Philosophy, or related).
  • Minimum of two years of experience in spiritual counseling and coordination of grief/bereavement work.
  • Two units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) are required or preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assesses, plans, implements, and documents spiritual and bereavement care for patients and families.
  • Provides clinical notes and care plans for each visit or contact.
  • Coordinates and supervises spiritual care services with home/hospital staff and local clergy.
