Job summary

Stillwater Hospice in Billings, Montana is seeking a Hospice RN Weekend On Call to join a growing, patient‑focused team. You will plan, organize and direct hospice care, delivering professional nursing services in patients' homes and communities as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One to two years of recent acute care in institutional setting and home care.
• Current licensure in state.
• Valid driver’s license with insured vehicle.
• Bachelor’s degree with hospice care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial and ongoing patient/family assessments to determine hospice needs.
• Provide professional nursing care per nursing process and Nurse Practice Act.
• Develop and revise care plans with patient and family; administer medications.
• Coordinate patient care as Case Manager when assigned.
• Educate patient and family on self-care and health management.
• Maintain accurate clinical notes and communicate with physicians.
