Job summary

Stillwater Hospice, LLC in Billings, Montana is seeking an experienced Hospice RN for weekend shifts. The role requires RN licensure, acute care and home care experience, and the ability to organize and direct hospice care in patients' homes and communities.

The position offers a salary range of $75,000–$82,000 per year with full-time benefits including health and dental insurance, a 401(k) plan with a 100% match up to 4% and no vesting period, PTO accrual from day one, a flexible work schedule,

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure in state.
• 1–2 years acute care experience; 1–2 years home care experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree, hospice care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes initial, comprehensive assessment of patient and family to determine hospice needs.
• Provides professional nursing care by nursing process as defined by state Nurse Practice Act.
• Initiates and revises plan of care as patient status changes.
• Acts as Case Manager coordinating patient care for assigned caseload.
• Teaches patient and family self-care techniques and provides instruction as ordered by physician.
• Maintains accurate clinical notes and documents patient condition and care given.
• Participates in on-call duties and ensures equipment/services are available.
• Supervises ancillary personnel and participates in quality assessment/PI teams.
