Job summary

Jobot seeks an RN Hospice Team Manager in New York to lead nursing staff and ensure quality hospice and palliative care. You will mentor case managers, coordinate staffing with NHPCO guidelines, and drive high standards of documentation and patient care.

This full-time role offers a $150k–$160k annual salary, a $15k sign-on bonus, and robust benefits including a pension, 403B, and comprehensive health coverage. Based in the NYC area and reporting to the Associate Director of Patient Services.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN or higher preferred.
• Minimum five years hospice nursing experience.
• New York RN licensure required.
• CHPN certification preferred or obtained within one year of hire.
• Strong supervisory/leadership skills.
• Proficient in Word, Outlook and Windows.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor nursing staff to ensure quality hospice and palliative care.
• Schedule staff assignments per NHPCO guidelines.
• Mentor staff RN Case Managers in pain and symptom management.
• Monitor nursing documentation for quality and compliance with policy and regulations.
• Present to community in outreach/admissions as needed.
