Jobot is seeking a Hospice Admissions RN in New York City for a full-time role covering the Queens and Brooklyn areas. The position includes a $15,000 sign-on bonus, a pension plan, and extensive benefits.

Work hours are Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–7:00 PM, with 2–3 patient visits per day. Candidates should have NYS RN licensure, BSN preferred, and two years of relevant experience in medical-surgical, community health, hospice, or oncology nursing.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• A minimum of two years’ experience in Medical-Surgical or Community Health; Hospice or Oncology nursing preferred.
• New York State RN licensure.
• CPR-BLS and valid NYS Driver's license preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform an initial physical, psychosocial, and health systems assessment to develop a plan of care and goals.
• Admit patients following National Hospice Organization standards of practice.
• Engage in community outreach to physicians and other medical providers about Hospice and Palliative care.
• See 2 to 3 patients per day.
