Job summary

AdventHealth in Altamonte Springs, FL is seeking a skilled RN for hospice orientation and staff development. You will coach nurses, assist in onboarding CNAs, and maintain ongoing communication during the orientation and 3-month evaluation periods.

Responsibilities include ensuring competency documentation, coordinating with managers, and supporting patient-family care in a community-based hospice setting. Travel within designated counties may be required.

Qualifications

• RN with required licensure and at least 2+ years of RN experience, hospice preferred.
• Associates degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with hospice care and patient/family education is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching and training to nurses needing skill development and documentation training.
• Assist in training new certified nursing assistants.
• Communicate with orientees and managers during orientation and evaluation periods.
• Review competency forms and ensure staff complete requirements.
