Job summary

AdventHealth Home Health and Hospice in Altamonte Springs, FL is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join our hospice team. This full-time role offers day shifts with potential weekend work and travel within Volusia, Flagler, Seminole, Orange and Osceola counties. You will coach nurses, train new CNAs, and support orientation and 3-month evaluations, while ensuring documentation accuracy and safety. A strong RN background in home health or hospice and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• 2+ years RN experience including hospice.
• Home health or acute care nursing preferred.
• BLS certification required. CHPN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching and training to nurses on skill development and documentation.
• Assist in training new certified nursing assistants.
• Communicate with orientees during orientation and 3-month evaluation periods.
• Support managers during orientation and 3-month evaluations.
