Job summary

AdventHealth in Altamonte Springs, FL is looking for an experienced RN with hospice expertise to support patient care and staff training.

You will coach nurses in skill development and documentation, assist in training new certified nursing assistants, and maintain open communication with orientation managers during the 3‑month evaluation period. This on-site role offers a day shift and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• RN license active and in good standing in Florida.
• Hospice experience preferred.
• 2+ years RN experience including hospice exposure.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching and training to nurses identified as needing skill development and documentation training.
• Assist in training new certified nursing assistants.
• Communicates regularly with orientee’s manager during orientation and 3‑month evaluation periods.
• Reviews competency forms with nurses and preceptors to ensure completion of requirements.
