Job summary

TriHealth Hospice of Cincinnati is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect holistic care to patients and their families. You will collaborate with physicians and the health care team to meet patient needs, while ensuring dignity and comfort in a sensitive setting.

The role requires an Associate's degree or nursing diploma, with BSN within five years and up to one year of clinical nursing experience. PRN day shifts with travel across specified counties are involved.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
• New hires must obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
• Up to 1 year of clinical nursing experience required.
• Knowledge of biological, physical, behavioral and nursing sciences to meet complex health care needs.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing assessment of patient and family and documents findings.
• Plans and updates care plans in collaboration with patient/family and health care team.
• Maintains safe, respectful environment and collaborates with physicians and staff.
• Evaluates and revises plan of care based on patient outcomes and input.
• Administers medications/treatments as ordered and monitors effects.
• Presents opportunities for staff education and supports continuous improvement.
