Job summary

TriHealth Hospice is seeking a Registered Nurse to support patients and families in home-care settings within the Greater Cincinnati region. You will apply the nursing process to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and collaborate with physicians and the care team to ensure comfort and continuity of care.

Responsibilities include assessments, care planning, safe environment maintenance, medication administration, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or nursing diploma required.
• RN licensure required; BSN to be obtained within five years.
• BLS required.
• Up to 1 year of clinical nursing experience required.
• Preferred membership in related professional organization and specialty certifications when eligible.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients and families.
• Plan and coordinate care with patient/family and health-care team.
• Provide a safe, therapeutic environment while maintaining patient autonomy and rights.
• Administer medications and treatments; monitor effects and document appropriately.
• Educate patients, families, and staff; participate in ongoing professional development.
