Job summary

TriHealth Hospice of Cincinnati seeks a Registered Nurse to support patients and families in home care and hospice settings. You will perform nursing assessments, coordinate care with physicians and the care team, and ensure comfort and dignity for patients.

This role requires travel, full-time work (32 hours weekly with a split shift and rotating holidays), and ongoing professional development including BSN within 5 years, BLS, and RN licensure.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing is required.
• BSN must be obtained within 5 years of hire.
• BLS certification required for healthcare providers.
• Active RN licensure is required.
• Up to 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing assessment of patient and family.
• Documents assessment per TriHealth guidelines and communicates findings to the health care team.
• Plans care for patient and family based on assessment and goals; collaborates with physicians and team.
• Provides a safe, therapeutic environment while respecting patient autonomy and diversity.
• Trains/educates other staff and acts as a resource in the specialty area.
