Job summary

TriHealth's Hospice of Cincinnati is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse to join the Hospice Support Team. You will provide compassionate, patient-centered care in home-care settings and serve as a resource for caregivers, physicians, and team members.

The role requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing, RN licensure, and BLS certification, with up to one year of clinical nursing experience. You will travel to Eastern Hamilton, Clermont, Brown, and parts of Warren counties, with mileage

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing (Required)
• New hires required to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire. (Required)
• Up to 1 year Clinical in Nursing (Required)
• Knowledge, judgment, and skills derived from nursing sciences to meet complex health care needs at various life stages
• Preferred certification in applicable specialty once eligible
• Registered Nurse Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing assessment of patient and family; documents findings.
• Plans care for patient/family based on assessment and standards; sets goals with the healthcare team.
• Provides a safe, therapeutic environment and communicates the plan of care to others.
• Documents and evaluates patient response; trains/educates other staff; serves as a resource.
• Administers medications and treatments per policy; monitors effects; ensures safety.
