Amedisys Hospice, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Hospice Clinical Manager to lead RN‑staffed therapy services, ensuring high‑quality, compliant, and cost‑effective patient care delivered at home.

You will oversee scheduling, referrals, patient visits and documentation, participate in on‑call duties, and support staff training to improve clinical performance and patient outcomes while maintaining fiscal responsibility.

Formación

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• 1+ year of clinical RN experience in home health or hospice.
• 1+ year of RN management experience.
• Current RN license for the state(s) you are assigned.
• Current CPR certification. Driver's License and reliable transportation.

Responsabilidades

• Supports, participates and works cooperatively with the director of staffing.
• Responsible for overall quality of patient care and clinical performance of nurses and aides.
• Organizes clinical operations for the care center.
• Reviews requests for services and determines patient eligibility/suitability for home care; coordinates referrals.
• Oversees scheduling and payor verification.
• Reviews documentation and resolves missing or untimely items.
• Assists clinicians in establishing goals and plans of care.
• Evaluates patient needs and revises care plans with clinicians.
• May provide direct patient care in emergencies.
• Participates in on-call process and staff training.
• Assists with investigation of patient/family concerns.
