Job summary

Crescent Hospice is seeking a Registered Nurse with supervisory experience to serve as Clinical Director. You will lead a team of RNs, aides, social workers, and chaplains, ensuring top-notch hospice care aligned with policies and quality standards.

The role emphasizes mentoring staff, conducting chart audits, and collaborating with program directors and physicians to grow patient numbers while maintaining regulatory and ethical care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or health care preferred.
• RN license in the state of office.
• Minimum 3 years as a nurse with 1 year direct patient care in hospice/home health/oncology.
• 1 year of supervisory experience in hospice or home health care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee a spectrum of patient services in line with hospice program policies.
• Provide guidance and support to a team of clinicians.
• Conduct chart audits to ensure regulatory compliance and ethical care standards.
• Participate in developing orientation and in-service trainings for nursing staff.
• Evaluate and uplift clinical staff performance during probation and annually.
• Lead interdisciplinary team meetings to refine patient/family care plans.
