Job summary

Sanctuary Hospice is seeking an RN Clinical Director to lead a diverse team of clinicians including RNs, Aides, Social Workers, and Chaplains. You will collaborate with the Program Director, Hospice Physician, and Community Liaisons to ensure program excellence and growth in patient numbers while maintaining compliance with federal and state guidelines.

The role requires strong leadership, supervisory experience, and a passion for compassionate end-of-life care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing and active RN license.
• Minimum 3 years nursing experience with 1 year in hospice/home health/oncology.
• 1 year of supervisory experience in hospice/home health care preferred.
• Strong leadership, crisis intervention, pain and symptom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee a spectrum of patient services in line with hospice policies.
• Guide and support a team of clinicians to improve care quality.
• Perform chart audits to ensure regulatory compliance and ethics standards.
• Develop orientation and in-service training for nursing and clinical staff.
• Evaluate staff performance and provide coaching for service delivery improvement.
• Lead interdisciplinary team meetings to refine Care Plans and share insights.
