Job summary
Sanctuary Hospice is seeking an RN Clinical Director to lead a compassionate team of RNs, aides, social workers, and chaplains. You will collaborate with the Program Director, Hospice Physician, and Community Liaisons to ensure office excellence, patient growth, and adherence to Sanctuary guidelines.
The role requires a BSN or healthcare degree, a current RN license, and 3+ years nursing plus 1 year supervisory hospice/home health experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare preferred.
- Current RN license in state of practice.
- 3+ years nursing experience, hospice/home health/oncology preferred.
- 1 year supervisory experience in hospice or home health care.
- Demonstrated ability in crisis intervention, pain and symptom control, and family counseling.
- Proficient with EMR systems.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a spectrum of patient services aligned with hospice program policies.
- Guide and support an interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
- Conduct chart audits to ensure regulatory and ethical compliance.
- Create orientation and in-service training for nursing and clinical staff.
- Evaluate and improve staff performance during probation and annually.
- Lead interdisciplinary team meetings to refine Care Plans.
