Job summary

Compassus in Reston, VA seeks a Hospice RN Clinical Coordinator to lead clinical operations in the absence of the Director. You will oversee administrative functions, support care teams, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

This role requires an active RN license and hospice experience, with opportunities to mentor staff, coordinate admissions, and participate in QAPI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse License required.
• One year of Hospice experience required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Promotes positive working relationships among team members and leadership.
• Supports onboarding and mentors new staff.
• Manages medication orders and ensures formulary compliance.
• Participates in care delivery and patient admissions/recertifications.
• Participates in after-hours on-call shifts as needed.
