Job summary

Good Samaritan Society is seeking a registered nurse to provide compassionate, high-quality care in a hospice setting. The role includes leadership of staff, adherence to patient plans, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.

The position requires an unencumbered RN license, a BSN preferred, and a valid driver's license. Expect day shifts with weekend coverage and opportunities for advancement within a not-for-profit organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing strongly preferred.
• Minimum of two years’ clinical experience preferred.
• Unencumbered RN license in the relevant state; multistate license may apply.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to assigned patients in a caring, safe, and efficient manner and lead staff per location standards and patient plans of care.
• Participate in creation and implementation of the plan of care by the interdisciplinary team.
• Communicate clearly with patients/residents, families and other health-care team members.
• Demonstrate independence, critical thinking, teaching, and ability to adapt to age-specific care approaches.
