Job summary

Hireez seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to support terminally ill patients and their families in the inpatient hospice unit. You will assess needs, coordinate with the interdisciplinary team, and provide preventive and supportive care with compassionate communication.

The role requires licensure in Florida, 1–2 years hospice nursing experience preferred, and CHPN certification within two years. Travel across South Florida may be needed. Training and on-call duties are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

ASN or higher nursing degree with active Florida RN license.
BSN preferred but not required for consideration.
CHPN certification preferred and required within two years of employment.
Proficient with electronic medical records and clinical software.

Responsibilities

Assess physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs within 24 hours of admission.
Document patient/family services within 24 hours and ensure EMR accuracy.
Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team and resources.
Collaborate with facility staff and attend care plan meetings.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Participate in on-call rotations and team meetings.
Provide education to caregivers and families.
