Qualifications

• ASN/BSN required; Florida RN license in good standing.
• 2–3 years nursing and management experience preferred.
• Hospice nursing experience preferred.
• CHPN certification preferred; required within two years of employment.
• Must have knowledge of computer office/clinical software.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate patient records from admission to discharge.
• Direct all patient care services and bereavement integration.
• Collaborate with physicians on palliative care measures.
• Manage team schedule with 24/7 coverage.
• Perform utilization review of care levels.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and hospice policies.
• Participate in care planning and updates.
• Promote staff development and team growth.
• Handle on-call emergencies.
