Job summary

Queen City Hospice in Southwest Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, end-of-life care. You will manage a patient caseload, perform assessments, plan care, and ensure high-quality nursing care. Join a mission-driven team with a structured schedule and support to prevent burnout.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Ohio or compact state
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Knowledge of quality assurance and hospice standards
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient caseload and lead the full nursing process: assessment, admission, care planning, implementation and evaluation
• Deliver holistic patient care addressing physical, emotional, psychological, social and spiritual needs
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team including physicians, social workers and chaplains
• Coordinate care with attending physicians and external providers
• Conduct routine patient visits and update individualized plans of care
• Provide end-of-life care including pronouncement and family support
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with state, federal and company standards
• Supervise and oversee care delivery by Home Health Aides (HHAs)
