Job summary

Queen City Hospice, a locally rooted hospice provider in Ohio, is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a Hospice role with a Monday–Friday day shift. You will manage a patient caseload, lead the full nursing process, and deliver holistic care within a strong interdisciplinary team.

The position offers low caseloads, strong clinical support, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for certification and salary growth.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Ohio or compact state.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Knowledge of quality assurance and hospice care standards.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient caseload and lead the full nursing process: assessment, admission, care planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Deliver holistic patient care addressing physical, emotional, psychological, social, and spiritual needs.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team including physicians, social workers, and chaplains.
• Coordinate care with attending physicians and external providers.
• Conduct routine patient visits and update individualized plans of care.
• Provide end-of-life care, including clinical pronouncement and family support.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and company standards.
• Supervise and oversee care delivery by Home Health Aides (HHAs).
