Queen City Hospice in Southwest Ohio is seeking a Hospice Admissions RN to guide patients and families through the start of their hospice journey. You will perform pre-admission evaluations, educate families about services, obtain consent, and initiate the admission process with compassionate clarity.

The role emphasizes skilled nursing assessments, individualized care planning, and interventions that maximize comfort, dignity, and quality of life in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Hospice experience (preferred, not required).
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently.
• Compassionate communication skills with patients, families, and care teams.
• Understanding of quality assurance and patient care standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-admission evaluations to determine eligibility and appropriateness of care.
