Job summary

Heartland Hospice, part of Gentiva, seeks an RN Hospice Administrator to lead a location with developing census. You will guide clinical operations, manage interdisciplinary teams, and drive financial and regulatory performance while upholding compassionate, patient-centered care.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of management experience in hospice/home care, RN licensure, and a strong focus on quality improvement and staff development within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with required license
• BSN preferred but not required
• 3–5 years healthcare sales/management experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year management/supervisory experience
• 2+ years hospice/home care experience required
• Meets all state-specific requirements for Administrator role
• CPR certification required

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership for hospice program with growth opportunity
• Oversee clinical quality, operational performance and census expansion
• Lead and develop interdisciplinary teams
• Manage financial resources and budgets
• Ensure regulatory compliance and quality improvement
• Coordinate with Governing Body and referral partners
• Direct office operations and contract management
• Support patient- and family-centered care
