Job summary

HopeWest in Montrose, Colorado, is seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse - Nights to join our care team. This role offers rotating 5pm–5am shifts with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and competitive pay.

You will deliver compassionate, relationship-based nursing care in patients’ homes and facilities, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of nursing experience, Colorado RN license, CPR certification, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Experience in home health, hospice, or acute care preferred.
• Current Colorado RN license required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Valid Colorado driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with EHR systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide symptom management and comfort care to hospice patients.
• Coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and families on goals of care and care planning.
• Document assessments and updates in the EHR system.
• Respond to emergencies with professionalism and compassion.

What You Bring:

• Minimum 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred
