Job summary

Affinis Hospice is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver professional nursing care to Hospice Services patients in a compassionate, patient‑centered setting. The nurse will assess needs, plan and implement care, coordinate with physicians and the Interdisciplinary Group, and educate patients and families on pain management and end‑of‑life care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Georgia.
• Six months of acute care experience; hospice/home care preferred.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to Hospice Services patients.
• Coordinate care with attending physicians and the IDG.
• Maintain up-to-date patient records and care plans.
• Supervise CNAs and ensure competency evaluation when needed.
• Support patients and families through end-of-life care and bereavement.
