Job summary

Affinis Hospice is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care for Hospice Services patients in Georgia. The role requires coordinating with the care team, physicians, and agencies to deliver compassionate, patient‑centered care.

You will assess needs promptly, document thoroughly, and support families during the terminal care process, while maintaining compliance with policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Currently licensed in good standing to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in Georgia.
• Six months of acute care RN experience; home care or hospice experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to meet employment health clearance and provide references.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care per physician orders and plan of care.
• Coordinate with physicians, staff and hospice agencies to optimize patient care.
• Assess patients within 48 hours of admission and develop a care plan within 5 days.
• Document observations and interventions accurately and timely.
• Support patients and families about disease progression and end-of-life care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary group planning and on-call coverage.
