Job summary

Aura Health is seeking a dedicated Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, state-of-the-art care to patients facing terminal illness in the Smithfield area.

You will document care to meet reimbursement guidelines, coordinate with families and the hospice team, participate in IDT meetings, and travel as needed to support patients. The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to nursing standards, and ongoing education. A valid RN license with hospice experience is favored.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure and completion of an approved nursing program.
• At least two years of clinical nursing experience with hospice preferred.
• Knowledge of home health/hospice care frameworks and reimbursement guidelines.

Role:

Qualifications & Skills:

• Current RN licensure, successful completion of an approved nursing program, and at least two years of clinical nursing experience with one year preferred in hospice.
• Knowledge of home health and hospice care frameworks, nursing practice act, agency policies, and reimbursement guidelines.
• Maintain 12 hours of continuing education annually, CPR certification, and willingness to travel, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
